The After-Hours Phones Coordinator position needs to be filled. Merridy will rotate out of the position at the end of July. Without someone in this position, there is no one to answer the phones when the office closes every night or on weekends. Please consider stepping up and volunteering your time in order to provide this necessary service! Training will be available so the new volunteer will feel comfortable and ready. THE CENTRAL SERVICE COMMITTEE HAS FIVE VACANCIES

After-Hours Phones Coordinator. The Coordinator is responsible for compiling and updating a roster of AA member volunteers for after-hours phone contact with AA. Additionally, the person who fills this position must ensure that all volunteers are aware of AA SA’s guidelines for this 12th step work. The Coordi-nator is also responsible for ensuring that the 24-hour phone is diverted to one of the AA member volunteers when the office is closed every weeknight, as well as on weekends and holidays. It is recommended that all after-hours phone volunteers have at least 12 months continuous sobriety.

Chairperson. The position of Chairperson acts as the leader for all monthly Central Service Committee meetings. Good organizational skills are needed as well as a welcoming and personable atti-tude.

CSO Liaison Officer North & South. Duties include informally reporting to groups, letting them know what the role of the Central Service Office is, and how groups and individuals can participate.
