Many of us made our first contact through the After Hours Phone Service (I did and it saved my life): This is where the AA 24 hour number (08) 8346 3255 is diverted to a member's home for the evening or during the day on weekends.

Volunteers are always needed - please consider giving it a go - it is very worthwhile service.
